I’m confused about the point of this poem. Is it just because the author is of Chinese descent? So what, he’s betraying his people like the lamb betrayed its herd?
That is just so messed up. Why not apply this to literally anyone who disagrees with their country? Anti Zionist Jews are simply seeking acceptance in islamists who want to kill them. Americans who disagree with US policies are just Chinese bootlickers.
Trick question, because obviously it would be wrong. People have no obligation to be loyal to anyone simply because they share the same ethnicity. To deny this is oddly reminiscent of “race traitor” rhetoric.
